My eldest sister, Jenny White (nee Marsden), died
suddenly on 6th April 2006 six weeks after being
diagnosed with a brain tumour. Her death has been a
great shock to her sons, Alexander and Edward, and
to her family. Our one consolation is that she has
been spared pain and suffering from a disease from
which she would not have got better.
Jenny's Funeral Mass was celebrated at a Catholic Church near to where she lived in Sunbury-on-Thames. She was cremated at Woking Crematorium immediately afterward. Her ashes were buried in the graveyard at Saint Edward's, Sutton Park on 23 September - a day around the time of her birthday. She continues to be greatly missed and we her family remember her often.
Jenny's professional life was that of a teacher with management responsibilities for the organisation and smooth running of external examinations at her school. More importantly she was a mother to her sons, Edward and Alexander, extremely proud of them and concerned for them.
Eternal rest grant to her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. Amen.
